vend a spendVend-a-Spend is a small school enterprise business run by pupils from all year groups. The team manage and run a small school shop called 'EQUALS.' The name was developed through being all 'equal' in trade and relationships. The shop and machine stocks a wide range of school stationary supplies along with a variety of hand-made cards and gifts. Vend-a-Spend prides itself on being charitable, eco-friendly and promoting fair-trade. In addition they regularly hold special events to celebrate seasonal occasions and have represented school at external events including the Global Enterprise Fair.

The initiative encourages pupils to devlop essential business and life skills including; team work, finacial capability, a 'can-do' atitude and in particualr they gain self-confidence and make new friends.
